My name is Luiz Gandelman and I am an 18 year old Brazilian-Israeli-American from São Paulo, Brazil, now living in Miami, Florida. My pronouns are He/Him. I am a lover of all things cultural, embracing my Latino, Israeli, and Jewish background. I speak fluent English and Portuguese, as well as near-fluent Spanish. I am also learning Japanese, Ladino, Italian, and Hebrew. My identity as a religious Jew is central in my life, and motivates everything I do. I love to travel and have been all over the world, soaking in culture everywhere I go. My favorite past-time is spending time with my friends and most importantly, my family. I am also an avid scuba diver and a lover of hiking and everything outdoors. I am also a huge Star Wars fan, and a lover of all things humanities. A lover of Geography and History, I am also into politics. My political activism consists primarily of fighting climate change, advocating for Israel, Fighting Antisemitism and other forms of hate, cultural awareness, supporting mental health, and helping support Democratic ideals in American politics and beyond.
