Luis Herrera

 I am currently working at the European Central Bank (DG - Macroprudential Policy and Financial Stability). I hold a PhD in Economics from the Catholique University of Louvain and at the University of the Basque Country (joint supervision, cum laude).

Previously I was at the International Monetary Fund (Monetary and Capital Markets - Monetary Modeling unit) and I also did a PhD traineeship at the European Central Bank (DG - Research). 

My research interests are in the area of macroeconomics with a particular focus on business cycles, expectations, macroprudential, and monetary policy.
