I am a PhD Candidate in Economics at the Catholique University of Louvain (UCLouvain) and at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). My research interests are in the area of macroeconomics with a particular focus on business cycles and expectations. My advisors are Jesús Vázquez (UPV/EHU) and Luca Pensieroso (UCLouvain).
I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Málaga, where I was research assistant for one year. Then, I moved to Bilbao where I did an MSc in Economics from the UPV/EHU focusing on the analyses of the business cycle. My master dissertation was about the role of expectations in characterizing alternative monetary policy rules.
I also graduated summa cum laude in the MSc in Economics: Research focus at UCLouvain. A revised version of my master thesis can be found here.
