About me 

I am Luis F. Lozano, an Applied Mathematician. Currently, I work as a researcher at the Applied Mathematics Laboratory of the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, MG, in Brazil. I study analytical and numerical solutions of systems of partial differential equations, particularly conservation and balance laws that model flow in porous media. Parallel to my research, I support efforts for more open, collaborative, and reproducible science. I enjoy playing video games with my kids, exercising with my wife, and playing the trumpet in my spare time.
