DKA - Diabetic KetoAcidosis Simulation App.
A cross-platform app for clinical case simulation. It guides users through protocols, providing parameter alerts and therapy suggestions based on patient status. Its architecture ensures easy updates to clinical data and limits.
TOEP - Tourism Open-ended Experimentation Platform
TOEP is a mobile and web application designed to consolidate various regional activities within Piedmont into a centralized platform. The application leverages a recommendation system and a user-friendly interface to present users with activities aligned with their preferences. Moreover, it enables tour operators to promote their offerings (e.g., gastronomic events, hikes, museums) and track user engagement.
STEP - System for Tracking and Evaluating Performance
STEP is a hardware-software system that automates physical performance tests, eliminating the need for constant expert supervision. The system focuses on three standard tests: the Six-Minute Walking Test (6MWT), the Ten-Meter Walking Test (10MWT), and the 30-second Sit-to-Stand Test (30STS). Validation compared results from the STEP app with in-person assessments by physicians for patients undergoing rehabilitation after knee or hip arthroplasty.

AURORA system, which stands for “HealthcAre sUppoRt fOr Remote HIV pAtients”, and includes a mobile tool designed for Android and iOS for HIV+ patients treated at Alessandria University Hospital, to remotely guarantee linkage to care, to ease compliance with therapy and to early detect critical issues both in clinical and psychophysical well-being.
