Spectral theory of elliptic operators of second and higher order, spectral geometry, geometric estimates for eigenvalues, spectral theory on manifolds, functional inequalities and shape optimization, eigenvalue asymptotics, Steklov-type problems, magnetic Laplacians on Riemannian surfaces, qualitative properties of PDEs on Riemannian manifolds.
