Lufthansa gives you the option to cancel your flight up until 24 hours before departure. You won't be charged cancellation fees if your ticket is fully refundable. Iberia Airlines cancellation policies will not allow cancellations for non-refundable tickets.

In certain situations, non-refundable tickets may still be eligible for a full reimbursement. Here are the conditions in which they may be.

• Cancellations within 24 Hours of Booking for Flights departing After 7 Days or More are eligible to receive a full refund.

• Lufthansa will issue a full credit for cancellations of flights.

• A flight delay is eligible for a full refund, if it's caused by:

  • If the incident occurred more than 1 day prior to departure, it will take longer than 2hrs.

  • If there are any irregularities on the day before departure, you may need to wait longer than 5 hours.

• Refundable tickets may be eligible for a reimbursement

• All flights or travels that were impacted by COVID-19 are eligible for a full reimbursement

• For confirmed reservations, boarding denials qualify for a full reimbursement.

• Cancellations of flights due to extraordinary circumstances (e.g. death or serious illness) may be eligible to receive a full reimbursement. However, Lufthansa must provide documentary evidence to support this claim and Lufthansa must agree.

Lufthansa's cancellation policy says that in all other cases, you will have to pay a cancellation cost. This is subject to your fare conditions.

Lufthansa's 24-hour cancellation policies allow you to cancel your flight and receive a total refund

• You can cancel within 24hrs after purchase,

• Your flight departs at least 7 business days after you booked it

Lufthansa's 24-hour cancellation policy is applicable to all ticket types. This includes non-refundable tickets. Refunds are only possible if you meet the following conditions: cancel your ticket within one day (24 hour) of booking. Also, your departure date must be at most 7 days prior to your flight.
