Hi, I'm Lucy Partridge (she/her/hers) and I'm from Salem, OR. I grew up riding bikes with her parents, hiking with her dog andswimming in beautiful lakes in Central Oregon. I have experience working with elementary and middle school students as a volunteer tutor and summer camp counselor. I also know about working outdoors through leading water, hiking, and biking trips for students at the University of Oregon Outdoor Program.
About Me:
I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Oregon with a B.A. in Planning, Public Policy and Management and an Environmental Studies minor. I am originally from Salem, OR. For the Environmental Leadership Program, I was a member of the Restoring Connections Team.
My passion for nature, environmental education and love of the outdoors was sparked by my time as a camp counselor at YMCA Camp Silver Creek in Sublimity, OR. I'm also interested in sustainable transportation, leading outdoor trips, and writing marketing materials for my previous job at the UO Outdoor Program.
I currently work and live in Salem, OR as a field instructor for Northwest Regional Outdoor Science School at Camp Silver Creek. There, I teach sixth graders ecology and stewardship and mentor high schoolers on how to be counselors and instructors.
