Lucky Rhino is a Johannesburg-based production company, which produces internationally and locally viable long form content, including feature films, series, and documentaries. Headquartered in Johannesburg, Lucky Rhino was established by producer Neo Baloyi and multi award-winning producer and director Fabien Martorell, each boasting over two decades of experience and a global reputation for creative excellence.

Lucky Rhino is dedicated to delivering high-quality productions to audiences in South Africa, throughout the African continent, and around the world. We firmly believe that stories possess significant influence, capable of shaping perspectives and society at large. Recently, we successfully completed our second feature film project in collaboration with Netflix, City of Gold, a gripping crime and action film, starring Bonko Khoza and Brandon Auret. Additionally, we proudly produced Collision, another feature film, filmed in Johannesburg with the participation of renowned South African talents such as Langley Kirkwood, Vuyo Dabula, Mpho Sebeng, and Bonko Khoza. Notably, Collision achieved remarkable global recognition, ranking as the third most-watched film worldwide, claiming the top spot in South Africa, and securing a position in the top 10 in 68 countries.
