Privacy Policy – Lucky Dangle
Effective Date: September 23, 2026
Last Updated: September 23, 2026
Lucky Dangle ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be accessed, processed, stored, or shared when you use the Lucky Dangle Android application.
Lucky Dangle is a screen-personalization application that allows users to display decorative dangles, charms, and custom images over the device screen and other applications.
By using Lucky Dangle, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Lucky Dangle is designed to work primarily on your device.
We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information such as your name, phone number, home address, or password to use the App.
The App may process limited information required for its features and for advertising services.
Custom Images
Lucky Dangle allows you to select an image from your device to create a custom dangle.
When you choose an image:
The image is selected only after your action.
The App accesses only the image you choose through the Android system file or photo picker.
The selected image is used to create and display your custom dangle.
Lucky Dangle does not automatically scan your entire photo gallery.
Your selected images are not uploaded to our servers.
We do not remotely view or access your personal photos.
Custom dangle images may be stored locally on your device so the App can continue displaying them.
Removing the custom dangle, clearing the App's data, or uninstalling the App may remove locally stored App data.
2. Display Over Other Apps Permission
Lucky Dangle requires permission to display content over other applications.
This permission may be referred to by Android as:
Display over other apps, Draw over other apps, or Overlay permission.
This permission is required because Lucky Dangle's main function is to display the selected decorative dangle while you use your home screen or other applications.
For example, the dangle may remain visible while using:
Messaging applications
Web browsers
Social media apps
Home screen
Other supported applications
The overlay permission is used only to display and control the Lucky Dangle visual element.
Lucky Dangle does not use the overlay permission to:
Read messages displayed by other apps
Read passwords
Read text entered into other apps
Access banking information
Access conversations
Capture screenshots
Record the screen
Record other applications
Monitor which messages you send or receive
The content underneath the Lucky Dangle overlay remains controlled by the application you are using.
3. Screen Content
Lucky Dangle may visually appear above other applications because of Android's overlay functionality.
This does not mean Lucky Dangle receives or stores the content displayed underneath the overlay.
Lucky Dangle does not intentionally collect:
WhatsApp conversations
SMS messages
Emails
Passwords
Keyboard input
Banking information
Browsing content
Social media messages
Screen recordings
Screenshots from other applications
The overlay is intended only for decorative screen personalization.
4. Photos and Media
If you use the Custom Dangle feature, the App may ask you to select an image.
Access is initiated by you.
Where supported, Lucky Dangle uses the Android system photo/file picker so you can choose a specific image without providing unrestricted access to your complete media library.
We do not sell, upload, or distribute your selected custom images.
5. App Settings and Preferences
Lucky Dangle may save preferences locally on your device, including settings such as:
Selected dangle
Dangle enabled or disabled state
Attachment position
Custom position
Dangle speed
Movement sensitivity
String thickness
Cable length
Rotation angle
Bounce setting
Touch interaction setting
Selected custom dangle
Other visual preferences
These settings are used to remember how you configured the App.
They are normally stored locally on your device.
6. Advertising
Lucky Dangle may display advertisements using Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Google and its advertising partners may process certain information in connection with advertising, including information such as:
Advertising identifier
IP address
Approximate location derived from IP address
Device information
Operating system information
App information
Advertising interactions
Ad impressions
Diagnostic information
Performance information
This information may be used by Google according to its own privacy policies for purposes including:
Delivering advertisements
Measuring advertisement performance
Preventing fraud
Detecting invalid traffic
Improving advertising services
Providing personalized ads where legally permitted and consented to
Providing non-personalized or limited ads where applicable
Lucky Dangle does not independently receive your complete Google advertising profile.
7. Advertising Consent
Where required by applicable privacy regulations, Lucky Dangle may use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request advertising consent.
Depending on your location and applicable laws, you may be presented with options relating to:
Personalized advertising
Non-personalized advertising
Advertising cookies or identifiers
Data processing by advertising partners
Consent choices
Privacy options
Where required, advertisements should not be requested until the relevant consent status has been determined.
Users may also be provided with a privacy-options mechanism where required by Google or applicable regulations.
8. Personalized Advertising
Depending on your consent choices, region, device configuration, and Google's advertising requirements, advertisements may be personalized or non-personalized.
Personalized advertising may use information collected or inferred by Google and its advertising partners.
You can also manage advertising privacy settings through your Android or Google account settings.
9. Advertising ID
Google advertising services may use the Android Advertising ID when available.
Lucky Dangle does not use the Advertising ID to personally identify you.
Android and Google may allow users to reset, delete, or restrict advertising identifiers depending on the device and Android version.
10. Internet Access
Lucky Dangle may require an internet connection for services such as:
Loading advertisements
Communicating with Google advertising services
Consent management
Other third-party service functionality required by the App
The primary Lucky Dangle customization functionality can otherwise operate locally where supported.
11. Location Information
Lucky Dangle does not intentionally request precise GPS location for its dangle functionality.
Advertising providers may infer an approximate location from information such as your IP address as part of their normal advertising operations.
Lucky Dangle does not independently track your real-time physical location.
12. Camera
Lucky Dangle does not require continuous camera access for its normal operation.
If a future version provides a camera-based custom-image feature, camera access will only occur after user interaction and permission where required.
The App does not secretly activate or record from your camera.
13. Microphone
Lucky Dangle does not require microphone access for its normal functionality.
The App does not intentionally record:
Conversations
Voice calls
Background audio
Microphone input
14. Contacts
Lucky Dangle does not require access to your contact list for its primary functionality.
We do not collect or upload your contacts.
15. SMS and Call Logs
Lucky Dangle does not require access to:
SMS messages
MMS messages
Call logs
Phone-call history
The App does not collect this information for its dangle functionality.
16. Notifications
Lucky Dangle may use Android notifications if necessary for an active overlay or background service.
A notification may inform you that the Lucky Dangle service is active and may provide controls related to the dangle.
Notifications are used for application functionality and are not intended to collect the contents of notifications generated by other applications.
17. Background Operation
To keep the decorative dangle visible while switching between applications, Lucky Dangle may use an Android foreground or background service where permitted by Android.
The service is used to maintain the Lucky Dangle overlay.
It is not intended to monitor your private activity inside other applications.
18. Accessibility Services
Lucky Dangle does not require Android Accessibility Services for the functionality described in this Privacy Policy.
The App's overlay functionality should operate using Android's overlay/display-over-other-apps system.
If a future version introduces Accessibility Services, this Privacy Policy and the relevant in-app disclosures will be updated before such functionality is introduced.
19. Screen Recording and Screenshots
Lucky Dangle does not intentionally record your device screen or capture screenshots of applications displayed underneath the dangle.
The App's ability to display an overlay does not automatically give it access to the contents of other applications.
20. User Accounts
Lucky Dangle does not require an account to use its standard functionality.
We do not require users to register using:
Email
Phone number
Google account
Social media account
Therefore, we do not maintain an account-based profile of your Lucky Dangle usage unless this functionality is added in a future version.
21. Information Stored on Our Servers
Lucky Dangle does not operate a server for storing your custom dangle images or normal App preferences as described in the current version.
Your dangle settings and custom content are generally stored locally on your device.
Third-party services such as Google AdMob may independently process information on their own servers according to their privacy policies.
22. Third-Party Services
Lucky Dangle may use third-party services including:
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK
Used for displaying advertisements.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP)
Used for privacy and advertising consent where required.

23. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not sell your selected custom images.
Information may be processed or shared with third-party service providers only where necessary for services integrated into the App, such as advertising.
Third-party providers may process data according to their own policies.
We may also disclose information if legally required, such as in response to:
Applicable law

We do not sell:
Your photos

25. Data Retention
Locally stored Lucky Dangle information may remain on your device until:
You delete the relevant content
You clear the App's storage/data
You uninstall the App
Information processed by Google or other third-party providers may be retained according to their respective retention policies.
We do not control third-party retention periods.
26. Deleting Your Data
Because Lucky Dangle does not require a user account or maintain a cloud profile for its normal functionality, most App information can be removed directly from your device.
You may delete Lucky Dangle information by:
Removing custom dangles within the App, where available
Clearing Lucky Dangle storage through Android Settings
Uninstalling Lucky Dangle
You can generally find this under:
Android Settings → Apps → Lucky Dangle → Storage → Clear Data
The exact menu names may vary depending on your device manufacturer and Android version.
Information processed independently by Google must be managed using Google's privacy and advertising controls.
27. Security
We take reasonable steps to design Lucky Dangle so that unnecessary personal information is not collected.
However, no application, device, network connection, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users should maintain appropriate security protections on their own devices.
28. Children's Privacy
Lucky Dangle is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
We do not knowingly request children to provide personal information directly to us.
Third-party advertising services may apply age-related and regional advertising requirements according to their own policies and applicable law.
If you believe that information relating to a child has been collected improperly, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
29. International Users
Lucky Dangle may be available internationally.
Third-party service providers such as Google may process information in countries other than the country where you reside.
Those providers are responsible for handling data according to applicable privacy laws and their own privacy policies.
30. GDPR / EEA / UK Privacy
Users in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other regions with similar privacy requirements may receive a consent message related to advertising.
Depending on applicable law, users may have rights concerning personal data processed by applicable service providers, such as:
Access
Correction
Deletion
Restriction
Objection
Withdrawal of consent
Where Lucky Dangle does not independently possess personally identifiable user information, some requests may need to be directed to the relevant third-party provider, such as Google.
31. California Privacy Rights
Depending on applicability, California residents may have privacy rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act.
Lucky Dangle does not sell users' personal information.
Advertising providers integrated into the App may provide their own privacy controls relating to advertising data.

You may:
Enable or disable the dangle
Revoke Display Over Other Apps permission
Remove custom images
Change dangle settings
Disable notifications through Android
Change advertising privacy settings
Clear App data
Uninstall the App at any time
Revoking overlay permission may prevent the primary floating-dangle functionality from working.
33. Permission Control
Android allows you to review and manage application permissions.
You can generally access permission settings through:
Settings → Apps → Lucky Dangle → Permissions
Overlay permission may appear separately under:
Settings → Apps → Special Access → Display Over Other Apps
