In 2016, I was a postdoctoral researcher in the engineering school INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliquées), in Lyon (France), since 10/12/2015. I work actually in the LIRIS laboratory (Laboratoire d'InfoRmatique en Image et Systèmes d'information), supervised by Dr. Anne Tchounikine and Dr. Maryvonne Miquel. I worked on a part of the Europange project, entitled: "Processes of political community formation: the example of Angevin Europe (13th - 15th Centuries)". I define innovating models and data visualizations for prosopographical and geographical data, in order to facilitate the analysis of these data. Main challenges associated to this project are:
- The processing of spatio-temporal data, which are uncertain. In this project, historical sources provide a datation of a set of events. But, this datation is uncertain. As an exemple, we can know that a person is born between 1223 and 1230 but we don't know precisely the day of birth of this person.
- The On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) of heterogeneous graphs. In this project, we are interested in social networks and jobs of a group of administrators, which can be definded as a heterogeneous graph. In this context, our problematic is to suggest an application able to perform OLAP operations on a heterogeneous graph.
In 2015, I defended my PhD, entitled “Semi-automatic Conception and Implementation of Data Warehouses : Application to Ecological Data” in Biogéosciences Laboratory, University of Burgundy (Dijon, France), supervised by Pr. Bruno Faivre (Biogéosciences Laboratory, University of Burgundy) and Dr. Sandro Bimonte (IRSTEA, Clermont-Ferrand, France). This project aims to design an automatic system, which uses data mining algorithms to build a data warehouse and the associated OLAP cubes. We test our prototypes on an application case from a bird population study: the produced system should deal with the complexity of ecological data, which are spatial, time inconsistent, heterogeneous and numerous data.
I have a multidisciplinary profile, with a knowledge background in biology, ecology, agronomy and environment sciences, and high skills in computer sciences.
I am interested in automatic data processing, from storage to analysis. I am particularly interested in projects with a real application case.
