Lucien is a Senior Lecturer in Creativity and Innovation at the University of Greenwich. Additionally, he serves as the Academic Portfolio Lead in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainability, and is Programme Director for the BA in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
As an internationally recognised scholar in responsible innovation, he leads a wide range of research initiatives and has played a key role in EU-projects with a cumulative funding of £12 million. Lucien is an editorial member at multiple journals and has published in both philosophy and interdisciplinary journals.

Lucien is an UEFA-Advanced licensed football coach with more than ten years of international coaching experience, in both Europe and the US. He has worked for several professional football clubs, including AFC Ajax, KRC Genk, and Oud-Heverlee Leuven.

In addition to his career in academia and the football industry, Lucien is part of the ‘Future Leaders Steering Group’ at the Institute of Business Ethics (IBE) and sits on the advisory board of a VC-backed tech start-up. He is also taking professional acting courses at the London City Academy.
