Lucia Freira

I am a Postdoc Fellow at the Neuroscience Lab, a researcher at the Research Lab on Crime, Institutions, and Policies (LICIP), and a visiting professor at the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. I hold a PhD in Economics from the Universidad de San Andrés, a Master's degree in Economics from the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Universidad de la República. I am also a former fellow of the United Nations Behavioral Science Unit. My areas of interest are behavioral and experimental economics, polarization, crime, violence, and climate change. In the context of my postdoc, I am also beginning to work on collective emotional intelligence with Joaquin Navajas and Amit Goldenberg, from Harvard University.
