Advanced Note and Marker Selection
Preface
This article will go over editing marker properties through the console, as well as covering conditional note and marker selection.
Instead of relying on a click-and-drag slider, you can precisely edit the values of markers through the console. From here, you can also adjust a marker setting to go beyond what can normally be achieved by the UI. Through this, you can yield some interesting effects that can't be found otherwise!
The article will also get in-depth with using the selectNotesIf and selectMarkersIf commands to select sequencer objects based on a condition. For example, you can select notes with the same individual note volume—or you can select the 5000th note in your sequence for whatever reason you have.
These are some of the more difficult console commands to memorize by heart, but the concept is simple once you get the hang of it.
