Cort was an outstanding student in my PDE class - hence the well-deserved undergrad summer scholarship to work on COVID-19 modeling in our group. Welcome, Cort!

Haridas presented his research work on Network Modeling of Infectious Diseases and was approved by all committee members. Congratulations, Haridas! Keep up the good work!
05/10/2022 - New math bio postdoc coming to our math Department!
Chanaka Kottegoda has accepted a postdoc offer and will be joining OSU next Fall. Chanaka is a specialist in ordinary and delay differential equations. Here is one of his current preprints (and a beautiful figure from his work).

05/02/2022 - Our internal Pandemic Research Planning Grant proposal was selected for funding!
In collaboration with Dr. Liang (Dept. of Statistics) and Dr. Hu (Dept. of Geography), we will investigate recurrent and resurgent COVID-19 outbreaks.
