I am an Australian/American theoretical physics PhD candidate specialising in quantum error correction and the statistical mechanics of fault-tolerant quantum computation. My research focuses on topological codes, post-selection and mapping stabilizer codes to classical spin models.

Professional history:
2025 — I worked as a research intern at PsiQuantum in the Quantum Architecture team.
Since 2024 — I have been a PhD candidate in the Quantum Theory Group at the University of Sydney, supervised by Stephen Bartlett and Dominic Williamson.
2022–2023 — I was a research assistant in the School of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Queensland, working with Mahdi Abolghasemi on time-series forecasting. I also completed a Master of Science (Physics) at UQ during this period.
2018–2021 — I worked as a research assistant in Xiaoke Yi’s group at the University of Sydney in biomedical engineering and photonics, culminating in my Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) thesis on silicon carbide photonics.
