I am a mathematician working with quantum symmetries and their use in the construction of quantum field theories. The central themes in my research are operator algebras, tensor categories and quantum groups.
One of my projects is related to constructions of topological quantum field theories through C*/W*-categories, and how to represent their values in terms of inclusions of operator algebras using techniques from subfactor theory and compact quantum group actions.
I defended my PhD at Universitet i Oslo in 2023. My thesis was supervised by Makoto Yamashita and Sergey Neshveyev. Now I am a postdoc at the Univesity of Oxford, under Stuart White. Before that, I was a master student of Artur O. Lopes at UFRGS (Porto Alegre), in Brazil. I started my academic career as a physics undergrad student at UEL (Londrina), also in Brazil.
