I am a former swimmer and cross-country runner at Adelphi University with a lifelong passion for endurance sports. Throughout my athletic career, I have competed across a wide range of disciplines, completing three half marathons and one full marathon, including a second-place overall finish in a half marathon.
My experience in triathlon includes completing four Ironman 70.3 events and one full Ironman, earning recognition as an Ironman All World Athlete. These experiences have given me firsthand knowledge of the dedication, discipline, and perseverance required to succeed in endurance sports.
In addition to my competitive background, I have coaching experience as a former USA Swimming coach, where I helped athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the sport.
Beyond athletics, I am a mathematics professor currently pursuing my Ph.D. My experience teaching at the collegiate level has strengthened my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, create individualized learning plans, and help students achieve their goals. These teaching skills translate directly into my coaching philosophy, allowing me to break down training principles, explain the purpose behind workouts, and provide athletes with a structured, evidence-based approach to improvement.
I am passionate about helping athletes of all abilities reach their endurance goals. Whether you are training for your first race, looking to achieve a personal best, or striving to complete an Ironman, I am committed to providing the guidance, support, and personalized coaching needed to help you succeed.
