I hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management, followed by a master’s degree in Economics at the University of Naples Federico II. My master’s specialization delves into Data Science and Computational Statistics.
My research activities span healthcare, social sciences, research evaluation, and statistical survey methodologies, with a primary focus on textual data analysis and bibliometrics methods. During my PhD, I delved into the development of automated text summarization methods within the scientific literature domain, through a computational approach. Specifically, automatic text summarization groups several methodologies aiming to condense texts into more concise forms while keeping the crucial information. In my research, I leverage in automatic text summarization algorithm suitable for scientific documents, aiding scholars in discovering pertinent insights from scientific knowledge.
My interest in these areas developed thanks to the guidance and expertise of my mentors: Massimo Aria and Corrado Cuccurullo, professors in statistics for social sciences and corporate governance, respectively, and authors of bibliometrix, one of the main science mapping tools widely employed in the bibliometric field.
I'm a member of K-Synth - Knowledge Synthesis - Academic spin-off of the University of Naples Federico II specialized in the research, consulting, and production of knowledge, extracted and analyzed from a heterogeneous plurality of large volumes of data, through quantitative, statistical, and data science methods.
I'm Associate Editor for Statistics of Journal of Oral Pathology & Medicine.
