Welcome

I am Luca Cigna, PhD graduate at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies (MPIfG) in Cologne.  

I focus on:

• How trade unions champion precarious workers in labor market and welfare reforms;

• The role of organized interests (farmers, business associations) in the politics of a green transition.

My work has appeared on several outlets, including New Political Economy, Regulation and Governance, Journal of European Public Policy, Journal of European Social Policy, and the European Journal of Industrial Relations.
