I am Luca Cigna, PhD graduate at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence and Postdoctoral Researcher at LUISS University in Rome.  

In my research, I explore the evolving nature of work and the new logic of collective action in advanced economies, focusing on trade unions, labour markets and social policy institutions. I am also interested in the political economy of care work, the environmental crisis and a 'just transition'.

My work has appeared on several outlets, including the Journal of European Public Policy, Social Policy & Administration, and the European Journal of Industrial Relations.
