My name is Luca Bastioni and I am a Ph.D. candidate in Mathematics at the Department of Mathematics & Statistics of University of South Florida, USA. My advisor is Prof. Giacomo Micheli.

I got my Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from La Sapienza University of Rome, Italy, in 2021 and 2018 respectively.

My research interests include: Algebraic Number Theory, Algebraic Coding Theory, Applied Algebra, Finite Geometry. Specifically, I am currently working on applications of Drinfeld Modules and Function Fields to Coding Theory and related topics.
