In 1966, Olympia  sells the contracts of LES OMBRES to Palette Records.

Palette Records wants to change the name Les Ombres.

THE CLAN was the first choice.

Instead, Palette Records has chosen one of the most inappropriate names

for a pop-rock band : The Klan (?)

 Les Ombres | The Klan (Clan) gave a show at The Olympia, Paris, France

with The Rolling Stones the 11th April 1967

Live Broadcast by the French radio Europe 1

(Musicorama presented by Hubert).

A show of anthology where Roy Wood from The Move, after having

destroyed televisions with an ax and having left full of glass on stage,

launched a smoke bomb. 

The stage and the first rows of the public must be evacuated

because the toxic smoke made the public choke.

The show was interrupted, windows must be opened and fire brigades arrived.

It is only after aerations and cleanings that The Rolling Stones

were able to begin their show.
