I'm Lu Fan, Ph.D., CFP®, an Assistant Professor at The University of Georgia. My research focuses on personal financial decision-making and financial advice-seeking. 

I have a broad interest in research topics including financial education, financial literacy, consumer financial well-being, financial socialization, and behavioral finance.

The courses I've been teaching at UGA include Wealth Management, Seminar in Financial Literacy and Financial Education, and Consumer and Money Skills for College Life (a First-Year Odyssey course). I previously taught Investment Management, Estate and Gift Planning, Computer Applications in Financial Planning, Investment Theories in Financial Planning, and Readings in Financial Literacy at the Universty of Missouri.
