Thrilled to be back at VSS2026! Happy to share two of my latest projects: I presented a poster, "Contextual associations impact visual search across multiple processing stages." Susan Ajith gave a talk, "Visual search is constrained by the variability of object-category templates" (proud to serve as senior author!).

Happy to be back at VSS this year! I had the opportunity to present two projects: Bound by sight, shared in the mind: The temporal emergence of object co-occurrence representations, which I presented myself, and The more you know, the slower you say no: Broad and narrow templates in visual search for real-world objects, presented by Susan Ajith. Science Fair "Strasse der Experimente" in Gießen, 2024
I was happy to participate in the local science fair with colleagues from Kaiser Lab this year. We demonstrated some visual illusions, deep neural networks, and drawing tools we used for experiments there.
