Patty Thompson says that she didn’t know she had a creative side until the start of the pandemic, when she began wood burning. She has come to appreciate this practice as art therapy helping her to recover from a head injury sustained some years ago. She has completed a number of projects over the past year and frequently hides heart shaped rocks in her artwork, a remembrance of her daughter, who passed away.

"The Lebanon Township Museum" was inspired by George Zack, a great friend of the Lebanon Township Museum who had suggested that Patty create a wood burning of the Museum. George passed from Covid complications in May.
