PAL (Peer Assistance and Leadership) is a junior and senior leadership organization at Lake Travis High School in that works to benefit the community and impact students into becoming the best version of themselves. We mentor and spend time with elementary and middle school students, and visit with Life Skills students and residents at retirement homes each week during the school year. Each year, the PALs work on a number of different service projects to improve the Lake Travis community. This conference is run by the 2017-18 senior officers (second year) PAL students, and our mission is to inspire incoming freshman to be the future leaders of Lake Travis High School.

I plan on going to FIDM and graduating with a degree in Marketing & Merchandising to get into real estate. The best part of PALs for me has been the opportunity to explore new areas that I have never been exposed to such as working with special needs students in the 18+ facility.
