LS Lab welcomes motivated students who are interested in high-temperature metallic materials, refractory alloy design, lightweight structural alloys and advanced materials characterisation. Students will have the opportunity to work on research topics related to aerospace and extreme-environment applications, including alloy development, phase stability, microstructural evolution, electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction and synchrotron-based experiments.

Prospective undergraduate, master’s and doctoral students are encouraged to get in touch to discuss potential research opportunities.
