LS introduce tiny shifts in way we meet, plan, decide, and relate to one another. They put the innovative power once reserved for experts only in the hands of everyone. By design, Liberating Structures distribute control so that participants can shape direction as the action unfolds. Inspired by complexity science and developed by Henri Lipmanowicz and Keith McCandless, LS helps you address some of the most challenging aspects of working together while supporting human development.

This two day immersion workshop is an opportunity to develop or expand your repertoire to improve work, meetings, unleash selfless leadership and network engagement. Liberate yourself from deadly boring meetings, someone else’s “best practices,” wondering why people don’t speak up, strategic planning that is anything BUT strategic and group process that feels like drudgery. You will experience 20+ LS methods and get a chance to practice for use in your local setting. On the second day, we will welcome some special guests and offer/dive deeper into subgroups focusing on specific application of LS. (The first identified focus is on “Strategic Knotworking” or how to really develop strategic approaches for complex contexts versus pointless leaden plans that rot on hard drives.)

There will be people brand new to liberating structures all the way through those who have been around since the start. We will ignite and liberate each other!
