• LRHG Dataset

The dataset contains several different gestures acquired with a lightweight USB Camera, thus allowing the construction and evaluation of the long-range human-robot interaction system via hand gestures. Please cite the paper if you use this dataset.

This dataset contains gestures performed by 8 different people, each performing 10 different gestures at discrete distances like 1m,2m,3m as short-range, and 5m,6m,7m as long-range, for a total of 4320 gestures. Data from RGB Camera has been acquired, with the setup shown in the figure above.

The left figure shows the data distribution of paper [2][3]. Our dataset features much smaller and long range hand gestures dataset compared with dataset in [2][3].
