Can anyone audition for school shows?

Yes! We encourage anyone and everyone to audition for our productions, regardless if they are enrolled in a Theatre or Stagecraft Class. However, frequently those students who do take classes have the experience to excel in auditions.

Can you be involved on stage AND backstage?

Yes and no. Students are welcome to take both Stagecraft AND Theatre courses. However, for a production students usually have to choose one for that particular show.

My student has had Theatre in middle school. Do they still have to take Theatre I?

Yes, all students begin with Theatre I.

My student is very shy. Do students have to perform in Theatre classes?

Yes, any child in any level of Theatre has to perform in front of their own class. However, students are NOT required to audition for productions. We also work with students to help control the nerves and anxiety that inevitably come up for young performers.
