Peize Liu

I am 刘 霈泽 (Pinyin: Liú PèiZé, IPA: ljou˧˥ pʰeɪ˥˩ tsɤ̞˧˥), a visiting assistant professor at UMass Amherst. I study algebraic geometry (Warwick page/UMass page) and I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Warwick. Prior to that, I studied pure mathematics and mathematical physics at the University of Oxford.

I identify as a geometer (although much of my work is done on the algebraic side). In addition to my current project in algebraic geometry, my interests sprawl across geometry, topology, category theory, and mathematical physics.
