This course exists because our legal profession and the justice systems it serves are undergoing profound changes as these structures evolve from their Second Industrial Revolution origins to cope with the many challenges our society faces in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the time in which we currently live.
This website serves as the digital syllabus for LPS '21. To learn more about the course, visit the About LPS page. Find important details on the Course Essentials page and the topics and assignments for class sessions on the Class Schedule page.
LPS is part of the core curriculum in the Program on Law and Innovation (PoLI), which aims to equip Vanderbilt Law students to successfully navigate, influence, and lead the law and legal industry through the many forces of change in this Fourth Industrial Revolution.
LPS also hosts a public-facing website found at legalproblemsolving.org where we share resources and where the course blog lives.
