Tips for Poster Presentation
Before the day of your poster presentation, you can tell others (professors, industry members, friends) that you are presenting a poster and welcome them to your poster session. You can talk to them after their seesions or email them and invite them to your poster.
During the poster session, ask the background of your audience and know each other before you start to present. Only explain the high-level background and contributions if the audience does not work on areas close to you. Give more details and simplify the background otherwise.
Talk and learn from your neighbors during the poster session.
Put youyr related papers and your contact information in the poster.
You can take a photo of your audience's badges/name cards and add their contacts on LinkedIn later.
