Our names are Ms. Krista and Ms. Lina and we will be your child’s teachers this year. Collectively, we have over 30 years of experience guiding children with the Montessori philosophy.  This year, Mr. Will will be joining us in a support role.  

  We are thrilled that you have chosen Montessori for your child’s Elementary school journey. We are true believers in the Cosmic curriculum (Montessori Elementary curriculum) and its ability to ignite a passion for learning in your child. Through their work in the Montessori environment, children are learning to become independent thinkers and self-guided learners. We let the children know that even as adults, we are always learning and mistakes are embraced as learning opportunities. We focus a lot on growth mindset and building perseverance in our students. Our greatest desire is to promote a love of learning and a thirst for knowledge that will follow your child their whole life.  

We endeavor to create a welcoming and supportive environment for a diverse group of students and learners and make this a priority in our classroom culture. This happens through positive discipline and individualized supports based on children's specific needs.  The peace curriculum is a large part of our classroom, as we strive for all members of our classroom community to feel safe, respected, and cared for.
