Welcome to the Lower Bebington History Group
We are forming a local history group based in Lower Bebington
We are interested in the people, places and events that shaped the development of Lower Bebington.
The name of Joseph Mayer dominates the history of Bebington
Mayer Hall & Art Gallery, Park, Free Library, art & antiquities, his gold & silver works
But there is more than one person and story behind the creation of the present Lower Bebington
What are your memories of growing-up, working or living in the area ?
What shops and places do you remember?
Any old photographs you would like to share ?
> > Note we are not a family history group < <
We are not meeting at any set day or time at the moment
if you are interested in joining us
please email us for more information
