Welcome Friends and Family of Lowell Jones
Lowell passed peacefully on June 9, 2020, with Pamela and Piper at his side, after a battle with brain cancer (Glioblastoma). There are no immediate plans for a gathering; we hope to celebrate his life when the circumstances allow.

Some notes about his life:
Born 1950 to his mother Caryl. Two sisters, Janice and Teal, and brother Aebe. Photos from the early years: https://sites.google.com/view/lowelljones/lowell-jones-early-years
Grew up in Southern California with a passion for athletics, including a successful career in high school and college basketball.
Met Pamela in 1971, and raised two sons who were his pride and joy: Josiah and Eagle.
Traveled through Alaska, Baja California, Mexico, New Zealand, and France, as well as many other natural areas of the West. The most beloved of his backroad getaways were in southern Utah.
Worked on many building and landscaping projects, including unique homes built for the family.
Tremendously supportive of Pamela's many decades of educational leadership.
Found a passion for swimming, cycling, and running which grew to become a lifelong pursuit. Lowell competed in dozens of triathlons, nationally and internationally. This included multiple Ironman distance events. He often placed well in his age group, and also encouraged others to pursue a triathlon lifestyle.
Lowell trained Piper (the family Yellow Lab) to jump 25' in DockDog competitions.
After settling back in the Eastern Sierra, Lowell has enjoyed exploring the natural surroundings with Pamela, and Piper.
