I specialize in teaching reading/phonics ages 3-8 (Preschool-3rd), but am able to tutor in foundational math skills as well! If your child has any specific needs, please let me know and I’m happy to see if I'd be able to help them!

YES! Of course! It is my passion to teach and reach ALL kiddies! I welcome all kiddies and will work with you and your child to develop the best learning plan! If you have any specific questions/concerns, please feel free to email me and I'd be happy to discuss! :)

I understand that I have my prices at a higher rate than a typical tutoring session! Though I am able to tutor across both Reading and Math, I specialize in teaching reading and utilize programs that are specifically designed for struggling learners. I am consistently looking for more coursework to advance my knowledge and expertise in teaching your child to read! I do offer rates at a reduced time of both 45 minutes and 30 minutes to try to accommodate any families that may not be able to pay the full hour price or that do not need the intensive instruction that the full hour provides. I appreciate your understanding! :)

I use several resources, materials, and programs to teach and reach a wide variety of children! I base my reading instruction on Orton Gillingham materials/methods. This is used primarily for students with dyslexia, but is helpful for all readers to build a strong base for reading. I also use Secret Stories which provides visual aides and stories for new sounds your child will learn K-2. I utilize different games and activities to keep kiddies engaged and loving learning, while still working hard! I always adapt my materials/teaching to work for your child and their specific needs!
