I believe learning is about so much more than completing lessons. It's about nurturing curiosity, building confidence, and creating joyful memories that children carry with them long after class is over. My hope is that every child who enters my classroom leaves with a little more confidence, a little more wonder, and a deeper love for learning.
My homeschooling journey began in 2011, when our family made the decision to begin homeschooling our three children. At the time, our oldest was entering fourth grade, our middle child was entering first grade, and our youngest was just a toddler. What started as a leap of faith quickly became one of the greatest blessings of our family's life.
Looking back, I wouldn't trade those years for anything. Homeschooling shaped not only my children's lives, but my own, and it continues to inspire the way I teach every child who enters my classroom.
Along the way, I discovered that my love for teaching extended beyond my own home. I have been blessed to serve as a Sunday School teacher, Awana leader, Vacation Bible School volunteer, and Release Time teacher for fourth and fifth graders. Today, I continue that journey by teaching homeschool enrichment classes, where I have the joy of encouraging young learners and supporting families in their own homeschooling adventures.
It is a true blessing to share my love of learning with the next generation and to help children discover the joy and confidence that come from learning something new.
