This Privacy Policy explains how LoveMeter ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our Android application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
The app asks you to type two names to calculate a love compatibility score. These names are processed locally on your device only and are never transmitted to our servers. Names are not stored beyond the current session.
The app stores the following data on your device using Android's SharedPreferences:
Sound on/off preference
Vibration on/off preference
A count of calculations (used to pace ad frequency)
This data stays on your device and is never shared with us or any third party.
LoveMeter uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to show relevant ads, including:
Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
IP address and general location
Device and app usage information
Ad interaction data (clicks, impressions)
This data is collected by Google, not by us. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads by adjusting your device's ad settings under Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
The app includes an optional Share button that lets you share your compatibility result using your device's native share dialog. No data is sent to us — sharing is entirely initiated and controlled by you.
The app requests the INTERNET permission solely to load and display advertisements via AdMob. The app does not communicate with any server we operate.
LoveMeter is a general-audience entertainment app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The names you type are never stored or transmitted. AdMob ad requests are configured as non-personalized for all users to maintain compliance.
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers, there is no data at rest on our end that could be breached. Data processed locally on your device is protected by your device's own security measures.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
