Our Pastor

Reverend John Edwards Hillary,Sr. is a native of Midway, Alabama. He accepted Christ at the age of 8.Currently, he is the Pastor of Love & Peace Church-Baptist of Montgomery, AL. In addition to his assignment as the Pastor of Love & Peace, he also possesses numerous outside accomplishments and affiliations which include the following:

- Bachelor of Theology from McKinley Theological Seminary (Zion, IL)

- Past President of the Montgomery Minister’s Union

- Current member of the Alabama State Convention.

- Dean Certifications SSPB (National Baptist Convention)

-Member of the Alabama Deans Network

-Member of the National Baptist Convention

-President of the Biltmore Acres and Woodley Road Home Owners

Association

-Member of the Montgomery County Department of Human Resources Committee

- Member of the Montgomery County Quality Assistance Committee

Pastor Hillary is the proud husband of Mrs. Wanda Mae Hillary, father of four, grandfather of eight, and great-grandfather of two. In addition to his dedication to the calling on his life and his family, Pastor Hillary is also an avid golfer and enjoys spending countless hours on the golf course.
