Egg Film, the production company behind the 2003 film The Classic filed an injunction at Seoul District Court against Yoon's Color for copyright infringement on June 6, 2012. In it, the motion sought to ban any future broadcast of Love Rain and any subsequent production and sales of the drama and its related products. Egg Film claimed that the TV series' plot and characters were too similar to the film, specifically the themes of a couple breaking up because one chose friendship over love, and years later their children falling in love with one another.[33][34]

The sets, costumes and hair were just superb for this and it was so interesting to see a Korean drama set in the not so distant past. Not only the clothing, and setting, but the timing and subtly was perfect. This is a different world from what we are used to seeing in dramas set in the present time. In-Ha is an introvert and never expresses his true feelings but in the 3 seconds it takes to first walk past Yoon-Hee (played by Yoona) on campus he falls in love. Of course as the road to true love is never smooth there are many complications: the first being how awkwardly shy the two of them are, the second being that other friends having feelings for them so they are never in the position to be truly honest.

JKS was going through a tough period when shooting Love Rain. His schedule was totally packed. He was planning and preparing for his Tokyo Dome concert but he could only discussed and prepared for it after filming which was often after midnight. He was schooling during that time, had to film and edit his own graduation film, had to film cf and love rain all at the same time. He even had a car accident during that period.

PS: Some dramas use metaphors and other symbolisms. But Yoon PD uses a lot that's why I'll make a review every episode and look for those. (LOL hahahaha) He's actually making a film each episode. Hmmm. It's such a shame that only a few watches this drama in Korea. Even though the story is kinda cliche, Love Rain shows a unique poetry that'll make your brain work.

I have to say i was extremely sad last night after reading some comments about love rain because i just couldnt get why people were being so negative, i thought the first episode was really good! and I guess i was looking forward to this so much and assumed everyone would love it. But today I realised, screw the ratings and articles, i love it and that's enough haha.

I'm glad to read a good review from dramabeans considering how negative their previous posts were before the airing. Hopefully their future reviews will get more positive in terms of the drama plot and leads' acting. It is rather difficutl to relate to inha's and yoonhee's character because its set in the 70s, so back then shy and quiet girls should be extremely shy and quiet so they speak with their eyes and facial expression ha-ha and inha may be representing majority of the boys to not be confident in confessing his love for yoonhee and to fight for it.

Same with you, I also felt that Joon was the one who changed the most in the drama. He went full circle. From the insensitive and indifferent Seo Joon at the beginning, we saw him become the warm and gentle person that he is. Actually to me, he is no different from his dad (In Ha) in this aspect. And I remember him saying in one of the last few episodes that after meeting Ha Na, he saw more of his dad in himself. And Hye Jung, I loved how the drama redeemed her character in the end as I guess a lot of viewers have come to hate her. The drama ended leaving a heartwarming feeling in all of us.
