I have 11 years of experience teaching general and special education at various levels from Pre-K through 12th grade, including most every subject from ELAR to Chemistry and everything in between. I know firsthand how hard it is for public school teachers to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of ALL learners when they sometimes have 30+ students in one class, but that doesn't mean that it isn't needed. It breaks my heart to see students that have fallen through the cracks somewhere along the way. They might be deemed lazy or troublemakers, or even worse than that, they might think they just aren't smart enough to succeed in school. That is where I come in, to remind them how wonderful their brain is and how to make it work for them so that they can reach their potential and find success. They might even have a little fun along the way!
