Love in Layers is a nonprofit organization started by Angel Cortes. Through volunteer work at various organizations he saw the dire need for clothing and how these standards were not being met. Aside from that, as an immigrant himself he knows the struggle of having little options to clothe yourself. In today's economy struggling families have to prioritize food and shelter, leaving behind the essential aspect of clothing. Taking into account these various situations all we can hope to do is make a change in at least one family's life. We plan to rely on donations from kind people and communities to then organize and redistribute them through clothing drives. If you support our cause think about just taking a few hours to pick some stuff from your closet and donate, after all it costs nothing!
