I am a registered Clinical Psychologist practising in Knysna, Western Cape, providing evidence-based psychological services and individual psychotherapy for adults. My practice offers a confidential, supportive and collaborative space where individuals can work through emotional, psychological and life challenges.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each individual’s needs, circumstances and goals. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to provide psychological treatment that is responsive to each person's unique experiences.
I provide psychological support for anxiety, depression, psychiatric conditions, stress, grief, relationship difficulties, life transitions, self-esteem and personal development. I also have a particular interest in men’s mental health, psychotherapy with young adults, and sport and performance psychology.
My work is grounded in professional curiosity, clinical rigour and compassion, with a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship. I believe that psychological therapy can provide individuals with the opportunity to better understand themselves, develop effective coping strategies and work towards meaningful and lasting change.
I have experience providing psychological assessment and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical experience has included work across psychiatric hospitals, general hospitals, correctional services and the Western Cape Education Department, allowing me to work with individuals presenting with a diverse range of psychological, emotional, behavioural and academic needs.
I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Stellenbosch University, followed by my clinical internship at Sterkfontein Psychiatric Hospital and my community service year at Oudtshoorn Correctional Centre. In addition to my clinical psychology qualification, I hold a Master of Arts in Psychology and an LLB (Law) degree from North-West University, Potchefstroom.
My professional interests include individual psychotherapy, psychological assessment, men’s mental health, young adult psychotherapy, and sport and performance psychology. I aim to provide evidence-based psychological care that is compassionate, collaborative and responsive to each person's individual circumstances and goals.
Outside of my professional work, I value balance, family, reflection and an active lifestyle. I enjoy music and spending time outdoors, and I believe that maintaining a sense of balance and connection is important in both personal and professional life. These experiences help me remain grounded and allow me to bring authenticity, presence and compassion to my work with clients.
