Louise Seiler, Paralegal

Welcome!

I am Louise Seiler, a paralegal who brings years of experience in legal publishing to the exacting demands of legal research and writing. My work for West Group (now Thomson Reuters) and BNA (now Bloomberg Law) over 25 years encompassed a variety of roles ranging from editor of the Ohio Revised Code Annotated to document processing to research to indexing. That experience informs the accuracy and professional presentation of the documents I produce as a paralegal.

Born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio, I earned my BA in Classical and Medieval Studies at Cleveland State University in 1982. I will attain my paralegal certificate from the ABA-approved Paralegal Studies Program at the College of DuPage in December 2020.

I was accepted into the Pathways Paralegal Internship Program in September 2020 and enjoy the challenges and opportunities afforded by the Office of General Counsel for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. My work entails drafting ethics guidance memoranda, proofreading opinions, processing single-family foreclosure mailings, and researching fair housing issues.

Thanks for visiting! Please feel free to poke around to learn more about me, and what I can offer your organization.
