The Louisa Young Democrats (also known as Louisa Young Dems) was an idea thought of by Louisa County High School students Hurley Lucckese and Maxwell Mackie. Along with these students, The Louisa Democratic Committee chairwoman Juanita Jo Matkins helped create the club. The Louisa Young Dems adopted their club constitution on October 30, 2025.
