I am a Professor in Mathematics at Heriot-Watt University and the Maxwell Institute in Edinburgh. I am part of the executive team of the Centre for Doctoral Training in Algebra, Geometry and Quantum Fields, co-initiator of the GRIFT group, part of the EMPG group, affiliated with the Higgs Centre, and in close contact with the Hodge Institute. 

My research is on the interface of quantum physics and mathematics. On the physics side I am inspired by fundamental questions in supersymmetric gauge theory and string theory. On the mathematics side this often prompts deep relations with geometry, topology and algebra. You can find a list of my preprints here and some of my online talks here.
