lost signal

Bio

Lost Signal is an alias for the music of Matt Couchman who writes and records instrumental electronica tunes on his computer in his spare time at home in Norwich. He likes to think that his output is eclectic and defies categorisation into a specific subgenre but it's more likely that he hasn't listened to enough subgenres.

The name 'Lost Signal' is a reference to the Parkinson's Disease that Matt lives with. Parkinson's blocks the pathways that would otherwise be creating the neurotransmitter molecule dopamine. Dopamine normally carries vital signals around our bodies so the symptoms of Parkinson's are the results of a lost signal. Matt found these tunes while hunting for the signal.
