Home of the Udara Air Kingdom, a colony of steampunk-styled inventors who build things that harness the power of air with the goal of rebuilding a floating city that once hovered over the rest of the island.

The park's primary mascots are the Tamariki, the nature spirits that protect the balance of the four elements on the island. A walkaround character, Aoka, the Tamariki of Friendship, greets guests in the park's entry courtyard Ara Matua. Twelve Tamariki sculptures are distributed throughout the park and twenty named Tamariki appear as collectible avatars in the park's supplementary Lost Island Adventure Guide app alongside twenty four villagers (six for each of the four elemental realms).

In 2023, nine streetmosphere characters debuted in the park consisting of Dr. Marion Galavant, an anthropologist studying the island's cultures and two representatives for each of the four elemental realms pulled from the app. The Awa are represented by Chief Navigator Alzanu and his daughter Kiku, the Udara are represented by the musician Bardo and Professor Lumina, the Yuta are represented by the curiosa Tunika and the spice merchant Yamil, and the Mura are represented by the warriors Kolvak and Ula. Additionally, there is a puppet character in the form of Ziki the Yikyik, a horned fox-like creature found on the island who is generally handled by Dr. Galavant or Tunika. Besides roaming the park, the characters perform the "Lost Island Legend Ceremony" telling the backstory of the park in the mornings and late afternoon.

The Lost Island is an area that has been removed from Prodigy Math Game. Players could not catch or rescue any of the monsters on the island because the majority were species of high rarity or were already evolved and were therefore "too powerful." The only native currency of the island was Wood, although it never was and still serves no purpose.

The island was inhabited by an individual called Swoopy. The player would have had to complete daily quests for him and his tribe of Floatlings. They needed to rebuild their village after the Puppet Master's goons had destroyed Central Village and the surrounding houses. Each day, the wizard would have arrived there to defeat six of any island monster (that Swoopy asked the player to defeat) to earn 2 Wood from each.[1] Once the wizard had collected 12 Wood by defeating the given quota of monsters, they would come back to Swoopy, and he would ask again for the same amount of wood the next day. It didn't have any use except to show how many battles you won; there were no shops or merchants to buy things from.

The island, mentioned by the ancient Greek historian Xenophon, is famous for its proximity to the 406 B.C. sea battle of Arginusae, at which the Athenians defeated the Spartans near the end of the Peloponnesian war.

The Arginusae islands, now called the Garip islands, lie only a few hundred yards off the coast of Turkey. Ancient historical sources refer to three Arginusae islands, but the exact location of the third has long been unclear.

Researchers drilled into the ground and used geological evidence to reveal that what is now a peninsula was once an island. At some point before the late Middle Ages, a land bridge formed between island and shore. An Ottoman map from the 16th century shows the island had already become a peninsula by that point.

Previous research uncovered pottery on the island that suggested trade routes; now certain microorganisms native to the Black Sea that were likely carried in by boats to the nearby port of Elaia offer additional evidence of trade networks.

Together with his new partner, Amy, Gideon follows a trail of cryptic clues to an unknown island in a remote corner of the Caribbean Sea. There, off the hostile and desolate Mosquito Coast, the pair realize the extraordinary treasure they are hunting conceals an even greater shock-a revelation so profound that it may benefit the entire human race... if Gideon and Amy can survive."

Kailahi River had the best design and atmosphere of the whole park. There were tropical plants, waterfalls, island music playing throughout, and just an overall well-done experience. Even with crowds of people on tubes, it managed to stay relaxing.

Stretching along the far western shores of Florida, and the far eastern shores of Alabama, Perdido Key has a unique advantage as the perfect island destination. Tucked away on a narrow strip of land on the extreme western edge of Florida lies Perdido Key, a barrier island bookmarked by rolling, white-sand dunes and stunning views of the calm Gulf waters on its southern border and abundant wetlands, estuaries, and wildlife to its north. It seamlessly combines natural beauty, coastal living, and southern charm.

It wasn't immediately after I created the world that I decided to create a journal. In fact, I've never done one before. I hope you enjoy. Now to the point, I wanted a world that would bring back memories of a past jungle island world that I had before 1.7. It was beautiful. Although I eventually had no idea what to do with it, it was fun while it lasted. I mined, started a tree house, and tamed an ocelot, who I named Fritz.

My quest for a new world began on the seeds section, where I asked for a jungle island seed. One was quickly provided, and I checked it out. I decided it would be the one, but altered the terrain in customized options to make it ever so slightly more mountainous. And so I began...

The island turned out to be a bountiful place. There was easy access to food, and a few ocean monuments surrounded the place. More islands were in the distance, and the mainland was close if I ever needed anything more resource wise. There I attempted to tame a wolf, but it, and its pack despawned while I hunted skeletons for enough bones. That was a noob mistake on my part because I had forgot that they only despawned if they had been loaded for 2 minutes or more, and I stayed in the area to long. Whoops.

On the island there was a nice little pond. I decided I would put my house nearby overlooking it. I also tried to tame ocelots that I found swimming, but they evaded me. All except for one, who once tamed, had the same coat as my former cat Fritz. He was back! Unfortunately, night fell, and I was besieged by hordes of zombies and creepers. They kept me and Fritz trapped in the pond's waters, and a creeper managed to get close enough to us to do explode, and poor Fritz got hurt. After fighting off a wave off monsters, I managed to get to shore and sit Fritz down. The plan was to flee and come back for Fritz when the sun had come up, but he somehow fell back into the water. This canceled out his sitting, and he tried to follow me. He was killed by a witch who hurled a harming potion at me and missed. I killed everything in the pond, and lastly the witch. War would be declared against their kind.

Here's the upstairs room. Pretty nice, but it needs a rug. And I only have one or two sheep on the far side of the island, so it might take a while to acquire the wool for the carpet. Schrodinger's bed has been moved upstairs as well. I hope he'll like it.

I think this part of the island (visible from my roof) will by the location of some animal farms and work related buildings (potions, enchanting, and such). I'll have to clear out the ground cover though. Oh boy...

In 1587, 117 English men, women and children came ashore on Roanoke Island to establish a permanent English settlement in the New World. Just three years later in 1590, when English ships returned to bring supplies, they found the island deserted with no sign of the colonists. After nearly 450 years, the mystery of what happened to the colonists remains unsolved.

The Island has healing powers and cured John Locke of his paralysis and Rose Nadler of her cancer. It also functions as a "cork" that suppresses a dangerous force from escaping. At the Heart of the Island is a bright light, the source of "life, death, (and) rebirth" that needs to be protected. The current protector is Hugo Reyes. The protector also brings others to the island for various purposes, such as becoming the new protector of the Island.

Sometime after Jacob's mother's death, people built a cork at the Heart of the Island. (DVD commentary) This cork featured both Egyptian hieroglyphics and older Mesopotamian cuneiform writing, which ancient Iraqi civilizations used thousands of years ago. These island inhabitants evidently corked the Light following the Man in Black's transformation. (DVD commentary)

Radio signals from the Island attracted a French science team to the Island in 1988. While the entire team survived the shipwreck, the smoke monster killed several of them and Danielle Rousseau killed the rest, believing them infected with a sickness. She lived on the Island till her 2004 death. In 2001, a storm stranded Desmond Hume on the Island, and shortly thereafter the last on-island DHARMA Initiative member recruited him to work in the Swan Station. Henry Gale's balloon crashed on the Island sometime around July 2004 and a drug smugglers' plane crashed on the Island sometime between the late 1990s and early 2000s.

There are several clues to the Island being volcanic. The general topography of the Island is typical of a volcanic island, such as the apparent lava-formed coastlines. The powdery substance surrounding Jacob's cabin also looked similar to volcanic ash. The sign Bernard was making in "S.O.S." consisted of volcanic rocks. Moreover, The Barracks appear to sit in a crater-like formation, possibly a caldera or volcanic crater. ("A Tale of Two Cities") Locke and Charlie also discovered a lava tube being used as a den by one or more polar bears. Finally, Jack and Sayid surmised that the Swan's power source was geothermal. While volcanic activity is not required for geothermal power, it makes the process much easier. ff782bc1db
