Los Belones is a small village located near the Mar Menor in the natural region of Campo de Cartagena. In addition to the urban area, it also has three other sections: Cobaticas, Las Barracas and Atamaría.
Los Chopos is situated in Las Barracas, by the foot of the Cabezo de la Fuente. The village is full of life all months of the year. The village community is vibrant and you can feel it through the welcoming smiles of the locals.
During the year, various festivities are organized. During the two weeks prior to May 15, the day of San Isidro Labrador, patron saint of the town. On the first Sunday of May, the figure of the saint is taken in procession from the church and taken to the Fuente Grande, in Las Barracas.
This day it is typical to wear regional costumes (romero or pilgrimage) along with the traditional Sevillana (women only) and events and activities are held such as the typical mass with regional songs, Sevillanas dances, contests with popular games such as rope shooting., etc... but the most attractive, without a doubt, is the large number of people who come, including foreigners, who have incorporated this day as one more of their tourist itinerary. There are usually several stalls selling typical food to the public and free beer.
At Easter, they celebrate the Semana Santa and also they organise a contest to choose the "Beauty Queen" of the village. In the summer, they organise an evening of shopping and Carnival like vibe.

Bibi loves baking and her creativity, high standards and love for cooking its shown in her delicious homemade cakes and biscuits. Our boys love going treats shopping there. The owners always welcome you with a big smile.
The fishmongers, Tres Hermanos, offer locally sourced fish, and seafood and the quality and price are the best of the Mar Menor area.
