Community Basics
1) You radar must be switched off at all times during role-play. However, you may use the pause map to navigate but must not meta-game another players location, including that of a friend.
2) Unless you are a Moderator or Admin your overhead display must be turned off at all times.
3) During combat, you must use a cover to cover system. You must not roll or zig-zag in the open. You may zig-zag or roll in and out of cover so long as it is not continual.
4) During the day, you should go to or role-play doing your job. You must work at least one day per session.
5) You should drive in a sensible, realistic manner.
6) Do not glitch in any way, shape or form.
7) Your characters appearance should match that of what you are role-playing.
8) You may change your clothing, but must not change your physical features in order to avoid being identified.
9) Don't take events that happen in role-play seriously and let it effect friendships outside of the role-play. Do not bring your problems from outside of the role-play into the role-play. You will be removed if it causes disruption for others.
10) If a player breaks a rule, you must screenshot/record it. If you do not have evidence, we will not be able to moderate the report. Record anything you feel is deemed as breaking the rules and send it to a Moderator. If you know there is going to be a big event with risk of rules being broken activate your Game DVR in preparation. If something goes wrong and you forgot to screenshot/record, we will not be able to do anything.
11) If you receive an in-game text from either a Moderator or Admin during a session saying "RECORD" you should immediately record your screen. The text must be visible in your recording. You will likely be invited to a party straight after and should join immediately.
12) If you commit or witness a crime you must message a Police Officer starting with "ANON" followed by a short description of the crime such as "Car robbery, Legion Square" along with a description of your/their appearance. For example, male in hoodie, a cap and jeans. If you are reporting another player, do not name them. Just describe their appearance. If you have taken a photograph with your cellphone, you may use it as evidence.
13) Players must not use Everyone chat to communicate with other players for a long period of time. If you wish to meet with somebody for a period of time, go to a Party chat. Admins, Moderators and Police Officers have priority over Everyone chat if they are using it to make an arrest or perform a traffic stop.
14) You should use the game chat channels above party chats, unless meeting with large numbers of other players who are not in your crew or organisation. If you are not on the phone or near a player you should not be using a party chat as an in-character method of communication.
15) Everyone chat must not be used as an out of character means of communicating with another player.
16) You may only communicate with players who are far away using the in-game phone system. If there is a technical issue, use party chat.
17) If you are caught breaking or abusing the rules it will be the decision of an admin or moderator to decide your punishment. Be it a community ban, both permanent or temporary depending on the offence, or a strike where-by your cash, weapons, licenses, vehicles or businesses will be confiscated. You may also have your character completely reset and will have to make a new one.
